Last season, Los Angeles Lakers fans got to experience playoff basketball for the first time in seven years and, soon after, their first championship in 10 years. This season was a different story.
Not only must Lakers fans have felt the disappointment of being knocked out of the NBA playoffs, but many of them are currently going through the tricky (and often complicated) scenario of finding a new team to root for. Of course, it’s not a lifelong commitment, but it’s still a commitment worth thinking about.
That’s why in today’s episode of “Can U Dig It?” Christian and Jacob went through the list of available teams and tried to find the one that made the most sense to Lakers fans. Is this the team with the most former Lakers? Or is the team in the best position to beat one of its competitors?
They then talk about the biggest game of the week: Bronny James’ sophomore debut for Sierra Canyon. Would you be surprised if I told you there were more stars in the game than any of the games the Clippers have played in the playoffs so far?
Of course not, it’s the Clippers.
And for an abbreviated recap, check out Lakers Lowdown, in which Anthony Irwin recaps yesterday’s news and prepares you for the day ahead at LakerLand, every morning of the week on Silver Screen & Roll Podcast Feed.
