Rapper Takeoff’s funeral will take place this Friday, but unfortunately tickets are already sold out.
Tickets for the sad event went on sale Nov. 8 and were free to residents who live in Georgia because Takeoff is from Lawrenceville.
Fans were able to get a maximum of two tickets each and they sold out almost instantly as many in the state wanted to pay their respects.
The 28-year-old was fatally shot in a bowling alley shortly after 2.30am on Tuesday November 1 and pronounced dead at the scene.

Tickets went on sale on ticket master.
When you visit the page, it says “Tickets are sold out now. Check back soon.” However, no plans to release additional tickets have been revealed.
When and where does the funeral take place?
The rapper’s funeral, or ‘celebration of life‘ as his family calls it, will take place on Friday, November 11 at 12 p.m.
The public service takes place at State Farm Arena in Atlanta, which is usually home to the NBA’s Atlanta Hawks and is also used for music events.
drake has postponed his show at the Apollo Theater in New York, which was scheduled to take place the same day, out of respect for Takeoff.
“The Apollo show has been moved to allow us to pay tribute to our dear friend this weekend,” he wrote on Instagram.
Can you watch it at home?
At this time, there are no plans for the funeral to be broadcast live for people to watch at home.
The memorial service will have a strict no photos and videos policy. Footage of the event will be provided after the funeral.
How to make a donation
Takeoff’s family is asking people to donate to The Rocket Foundationwhich was created to “support programs that save lives through proven community solutions to prevent gun violence”.
The first round of funding will be split among four different organizations working on community solutions to end gun violence.
Donations can be made here and any amount of money can be pledged. People will not be allowed to leave flowers and gifts at State Farm Arena.
Information for ticket holders
If you have tickets for the service, doors will open at 11 a.m. and there will be free parking at the Ruby Lot at 100 Baker Street Extension, Atlanta, GA, 30303.
All devices will be checked and Yondr bags will be distributed before entering the arena so that people cannot use their cell phones.
Jesse Curney III, who is a pastor of New Mercies Christian Church, will officiate the service and deliver the eulogy.
