The Frontera Project organizes workshops and free public performances

The Kenan Institute for the Arts is pleased to host the Frontera Project for a two-day residency at UNCSA. Company members will lead workshops with students from the School of Dramatic Arts and meet with classes from the Liberal Arts Division.

Their residency feature will be a free public performance at the Reynolds Place Theater at the Milton Rhodes Center for the Arts on Monday, October 3 at 7 p.m.

The Frontera Project is an interactive, bilingual theatrical experience created and performed by a group of artists from Mexico and the United States. Fusing theatre, movement and music, performers and audiences engage in a compassionate and often joyful conversation about life on the US-Mexico border.

The performance and post-show discussion are free for all.

Arrive early for the food trucks and to catch the Hispanic League’s Anniversary Exhibit in the lobby of the Milton Rhodes Center. Bus transportation will be available for all students.
