Podcast: Crashing the Party, Herd seeks to spoil the return of the state of Illinois.

A week after the 34-20 demolition of a booming program in northern Iowa, the herd appears to be spoiling the state of Illinois homecoming. Quincy Patterson torched the Panthers for four touchdowns, including an 85-yard precision guided dynamite bomb to Christian Watson. Watson, the FCS’s most explosive offensive weapon, finished with five catches for 163 yards and one score. A big punt return from Jayden Price, followed by a backpack by Will Mostaert, saw two Bison touchdowns early in the second half.

Swany and Brady talk about a rising herd offense and the suffocating Code Green / “Best Friends Defense”. Swany says he expects the NDSU offense to be aggressive in attacking the Redbirds today, and ISU’s problems getting off the field on the third down will be costly against the herd. Patterson’s growing chemistry with his receivers, combined with his running skills and Bison ground play, intensifies.

The guys are also discussing some surprise teams at the Missouri Valley Football Conference and a list of big clashes this weekend – including North Dakota in Southern Illinois and South Dakota at UNI.

The Bison Offensive continues the march this week, where the champions come to speak, on the Bison Illustrated Podcast!
