Plymouth Music Center offering free Thai food to people in poverty


A community music center provides a free hot meal to those living in poverty or homelessness on New Year’s Eve.

The Clipper, located at 65 Union Street, will be hosting a table service where they will serve TryThai’s Street food, suitable for vegans and meat eaters.

This free gastronomic event will take place on December 31 for two hours, between 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m., where community members, who may be in need of some hot food, can enjoy not only the food – but the company of the friendly. volunteers.

Omnium Radio’s Community Music Hub is a local station that opened in October 2018 and is run by a group of volunteers from Plymouth who help make an impact in the community.

Clipper CEO Trace Jared-Davis wants to help spread the word so community members benefit from free Thai street food.

In a statement, The Clipper said, “To give back to the community, we are providing FREE Thai food courtesy of TryThai Street Food for those living in poverty or homelessness.

“We will serve in front of the Clipper 65 Union Street with table service.

“Vegan and meat items will be available along with hot tea or coffee.”

The statement continued: “We would be grateful if you could help us inform members of your organization who would benefit from it.

“Thank you.”

At the Clipper, hot and cold food is available to eat in or take out and host many different events that help volunteers stay in touch with the local community.

On Friday, December 31, free Thai food will be available for those who live in precarious conditions and need a hot food stomach for a ‘lift’ during the colder months.
