This summer, the City of Burlington is bringing back many free events and programs for residents and visitors. There will be fun activities and events suitable for everyone.

This summer there will be concerts in the park, a mini festival for children, movies under the stars and free summer swims.

Concerts in the Park, presented by the Rocca Sisters

Concerts in the Park are presented by the Rocca Sisters and take place every Wednesday and Sunday from 7:30-9 p.m. at the Central Park Bandshell (2311 New St.) through the end of August. Bring a blanket or chair, pack a picnic and join us for an evening of free music. For a complete list of artists, visit

Kids Mini Fest, presented by the Rocca Sisters

Kids Mini Fest on Saturday, August 13 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. is presented by the Rocca Sisters, with special activities provided by Safari Dental. We invite you to join us at any of the locations listed below for this free family event. This event offers simultaneous/same level of programming and activities at each location. We encourage you to choose the park closest to you.

Slot: 1 -Brant Hills Park, 2255 Brant St.
Location: 2 – Cumberland Park, 562 Cumberland Avenue.
Slot: 3 – Millcroft Park, 4520 Millcroft Park Drive.

Movies Under the Stars, presented by Access Storage

Under the Stars films presented by Access Storage will take place on select Thursdays in July and August at city parks. Come early and bring a picnic or snack and choose your spot on the lawn for the night. All movies start at dusk. To see dates, locations and movies, visit

Free Summer Swim, presented by Access Storage

The Free Summer Swim presented by Access Storage will take place at specific times at various locations and times throughout the summer. Come cool off and have fun in our outdoor and indoor pools. For specific dates and times, search “freestyle” at
