The awards will expand its catchment area for the 2022-2023 nominations to include Sarnia, Chatham-Kent and Walpole Island to the west, Goderich, Wingham, North Perth and East Huron to the north, and Port Dover to the east.

“It’s exciting for (the prices). . . to include these areas in response to requests from musicians and supporters, ”said Mario Circelli, Founder and President. “This increases our reach as a resource for musicians, our ability to provide learning and mentoring opportunities and to recognize emerging and established artists. “

The new limits will expand musicians’ eligibility for the 2022 nominations that will be celebrated in 2023.

Many musicians and bands come to London to perform and develop their audiences, Circelli said. “Historically, musicians from these regions have played a vital role in the history of the music scene in southwestern Ontario.
