Kid Cudi’s “Do What I Want” Is An Ode To A Free Lifestyle

Kid Cudi’s latest feature arrived in late 2020 with The Man on the Moon III: The Chosen One. Since then, Cudi has teased various projects, including his The Scotts joint project with Travis Scott, but nothing has happened yet. All of that should change this year as Cudi has confirmed its entergalactic project will end at some point this year. entergalactic is much more than an album, since it will also be accompanied by a Netflix animated series. As for the album itself, Cudi kicks off the rollout with “Do What I Want,” produced by Take A Daytrip.

The track is an effort that sees Cudi committed to living life exactly the way he wants: free and without conforming to societal norms. The track also interpolates the famous “stay away from the weed!video. “Do What I Want was the first song I did with Day Trip and I locked them up with them soon after to do MOTM3,” wrote in a tweet for the song’s announcement. earlier this week. “I’m really happy to finally hear it.”

‘Do What I Want’ comes after Cudi shares the first trailer for the upcoming entergalactic Netflix animated series. The show is expected to feature Timothée Chalamet, Jessica Williams, Macaulay Culkin, Ty Dolla $ign, 070 Shake, Jaden Smith, Teyana Taylor, Vanessa Hudgens, Christopher Abbott, Keith David and Arturo Castro. Blackish creator Kenya Barris and Ian Edelman (How to do it in America) will co-produce and co-write the show.
