Don’t Dallas Cowboys Get National Respect?


Training camp is a wonderful time of the season when every football team – well, almost all – is undefeated and every team is full of potential. Or at least what Dallas Cowboys Nation thinks every summer.

The hope for every player to be an All-Pro is contained in each team’s training camp roster. Each team’s fan base, staff and media consider this year to be their year.

But then some outside media influence brings it all back to reality. Sometimes it’s injuries, a harder-than-expected schedule, or just underperformance.

For the Dallas Cowboys in 2021, that outside influence may well be Focus on professional football. PFF recently released their power rankings for each NFL team entering the 2021 season.

With the return of Dak Prescott and a healthy offensive line, a host of talented receivers and defensive assist in the form of new coordinator Dan Quinn and first-round pick Micah Parsons, optimism reigns at the highest level among the Cowboys and their fans. . However, it is not shared by PFF.
